   The concept of biodiesel: There is a more popular concept of biodiesel on the Internet, which is called "Biodiesel "for the extraction of automatic vegetable oils, which is commonly used in tractors, trucks, ships, etc. It refers to oil crops such as soybean, rape, cotton, palm and so on, wild oil plants and engineering microalgae and other aquatic plant oils, as well as animal oils, food waste oil as raw materials oil through transesterification or thermochemical process can replace petrochemical diesel fuel. Biodiesel is a kind of biomass energy, which is close to petrochemical diesel in physical properties, but its chemical composition is different. Biodiesel is a mixture of complex organic components with extremely high oxygen content. These mixtures are mainly organic compounds of high molecular weight, including almost all kinds of organic compounds containing oxygen, such as esters, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, phenols, organic acids, alcohols, etc."Note that this statement is only a descriptive explanation, not rigorous, at most a popular science explanation, strictly defined from our national standard for biodiesel GB 20828(the latest version is version 2015), which is defined as "biodiesel for diesel fuel blending (BD 100)", defined as fatty acid monoalkyl esters derived from animal and vegetable oils or waste oils reacting with alcohols (e.g. methanol or ethanol), and most typical fatty acid methyl esters (FAME), expressed in BD 100.
   The first edition of China's biodiesel standard was published in 2007, and it was revised(2011, 2014). The latest edition is 2015. At present, the standard is being revised. The standard is compiled by Petrochemical Research Institute of China Petrochemical Co., Ltd. The National Biodiesel Industry Cooperation Group and its affiliated enterprises participated in the review of 2011, 2014 and 2015 versions as the only professional biodiesel industry organization in China.
